Doors at 7:00 and show at 8:00 p.m. Generaladmission tickets are $75.00 and available atEventbrite.AnaLouierecently debuted its 1950’s Parisian-inspired Holiday 2011 Collection at a private launch event attended by retail buyers, local media, and industry, and will present to the larger Seattle fashioncommunity and consumers with this showing. The line was inspired by and named after the founder’s eight year old daughter, Ana, whose eye for style emerged very early and whose drawing and sketches have been realized with fine materials andimpeccable construction by Seattle designer Masha Osoianu.“From a young age, Ana always loved to dress up and pick out her ‘special dresses.’ When she was 5years old, she started drawing a myriad of dresses, tops, skirts and hats. She would perfect the drawingsto better represent what was in her imagination. Crayon drawings eventually transformed into the coloredpencil sketches and a select few are the inspiration for our Holiday line,” says Ann Marie Louie, founder and CEO of Ana Louie. “Ana has been involved in the entire process. It’s a joy to witness her dreambecome a reality and it’s very empowering for us both.”Behind the beautiful pieces and at the core of Ana Louie is a socially-conscious and China-focusedmission. Ana was adopted from Yong Feng, Jiangxi Province China and today so much of the garmentswe love are manufactured close to her birthplace.
