, and was buried Saturday at St.Michael’s Cemetery in Louisville; and Sylvia Fusting, who died Friday, June 17
, and was buried on Tuesday of this week. She isthe mother of Kim (Jim) Franczyk, who attend All Saints. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
Religious Education News from Diane Black 
: I encourage you to pick up the take-home material that is provided each week – the“Explaining God’s Word” children’s bulletin, and coloring and activity pages, on the bookcases and the table near the loft stairs.
Youth Ministry:
Letters were mailed to the parish youth about the upcoming trip to King’s Island on July 23

June 25th Mass Schedule:
Our Saturday evening 5:00 Mass will resume next week, July 2nd. Please remember to pray for vocations – it is a challenge to find enough substitute priests to fill in where needed, and we are blessed to be covered most weeks.
New Doors:
The parish contracted with Gene Hoene to replace the rust-damaged doors to the parish office area/handicappedentrance to church. The new doors are a major improvement to our building.
St. Francis Xavier Summer Picnic:
The parishioners of our sister parish invite you to attend their annual fundraiser on Friday andSaturday, July 8th and 9th. On Friday, a pork chop sandwich with sides, dessert and drink will be served outside. On Saturday,they will serve a chicken dinner with sides, dessert and drink in their air-conditioned parish hall. Adult meal prices for both are$8.00. Booths, inflatables, and lots of activities will be available. Please note their Mass Schedule for the weekend: SaturdayMasses at 4:00 and 10:45 PM, Sunday Mass at 9:00, no 7:00 AM Mass.
ACS Relay for Life
: Karen Karrer reports that the All Saints team is about $250 short of raising $10,000 for this annual fundraiser.If you would like to make a contribution, contact a team member, drop it in the collection or bring it to the parish office. Thanks!

Staff Changes:
It was
announced last week 
that Diane Black has accepted the additional duties of parish secretary and bulletineditor, along with continuing as bookkeeper and Director of Religious Education for children, because of Nancy Almony’s move tothe full-time secretarial position for St. Francis Xavier. We will be reviewing the parish office hours and will keep you advised of any changes to our schedule. Please keep the members of both parish staffs in your prayers as they begin new roles.

Catechist Certification Classes
: Although the series of classes to earn Associate Catechist certification has already begun, youmay be interested in attending the remaining sessions.
The classes will be held at St. Joseph’s in Bardstown and are open toanyone interested in learning about our faith. Brochures are available in the parish office and on the table near the loft stairs. Pre-registration is requested for preparation of materials. Contact Diane Black or Deacon Gerry for more information.
