Inspirational Mystery & Suspense AuthorCindy Bauer
is a native of Davenport, Iowa,though she currently resides in Missouri. Theyoungest of three, Cindy dreamed of becoming awriter someday. She graduated from AssumptionHigh School in 1975 and married her husbandRobert in 1976, leaving her dream behind.While employed with a local daily newspaper,Cindy’s dream became a reality. She publishedher first novel,Chasing Memories, in 2006 andher second,Shades of Blue, in 2007, both editedby her sister, a former journalism teacher. Inearly 2008, Cindy severed ties with herpublisher, rewrote and republished those twonovels in 2008, finishing out the series in 2009 with the publication of Crystal Clear.Cindy is currently working on a new series of mystery suspense novels, with the first titled, JustifiableVengeance. She is also a volunteer partner with Books In Sync.Cindy has interviewed some well-known authors such as Lenora Worth and Gail Gaymer Martin, andalso singer/songwriter, Amanda Abizaid.

*************************Q: What makes you proud to be a writer from Missouri, USA?
A:
What makes me proud is the fact that I finally accomplished my dream and I really enjoy writing.
Q: What or who inspired you to become a writer?
A:
Working for the newspaper reignited the desire for me, but my sister is the one who really set it intomotion.
Q: When did you begin writing with the intention of becoming published?
A:
April 2005 and it was published January 2006.
Q: Did your environment or upbringing play a major role in your writing and why?
A:
I was anavid reader as a child and always wanted to write, too. With only a high school education, though, Ithought it would never be possible. That is, until my sister, a former journalism teacher, told me I writewell and should consider writing a book someday. Coming from her, that's a very high compliment andit motivated me to do exactly that.
Q: Do you come up with your title (s) before or after you write the manuscript (s)?
A:
Before! Ialready know what the story is going to be before I begin, but sometimes it goes in a different directionduring the writing process, causing me to change the title for one reason or another.
Q: Tell us why you write the genre(s) that you write?
A:
I actually enjoy reading mysteries, so I was quite surprised when I got about halfway through myfirst novel and realized it was Inspirational Fiction... and not a mystery. And once I finished it, it becamethe first in a trilogy. I am currently working on some mystery/suspense novels.

A:
My books are available in print, pdf and Kindle. You can find them at Lulu.com, my publisher, andalso at Amazon. The first two in the series are also available at Barnes & Noble.
