If anyone on these teams is unableto participate, he must alert the iCoach and his replacement. Trainers andequipment personnel should also be in close contact.

HUDDLE PROCEDUREThe extra-point and field goal teams have been designed to utilize the maximumeffectiveness of our kicker and total field goal, extra-point personnel. We willbe concise and sound in our execution of these teams and our package will becompact but complete. Also, it will make the opposition spend extra time onpossibilities that could come about from our pac:kage.
The following times will be required by the field goal, extra-point team:

REGULAR HUDDLE PROCEDURE
A.
We will always huddle to the left of the ball on field goal, extra-pointsituations unless we are fighting for time, then we will not huddle.
B.
The Center will set the huddle 8 yards from the ball.If the ball is in the middle of the field, set huddle on the left hash.If the ball is on the left hash, set huddle between sidelines and hashIf the ball is on the right hash, set huddle in the middle of the field.SEE DIAGRAM~;;

HOLDER
You are the "Quarterback" of the fied goal and extra pointteam. After you have broken the huddle you are as responsible for asuccessful kick as the Kicker. You must be part of a smooth rhythmbetween snap, hold and kick. Place your hand down on a spot 8 yardsfrom the front tip of the ball picked by your kicker. Give yourteam a verbal command as to which side the defenders are overloading oneach kick. EXAMPLE: "Middle, Right, or Left". This will be consistentwith special situations later on. When the team and kicker are ready, givethe command "READY", then give y:>ur Center a target with your hand andthe ball will be snapped when the Ct!nter is ready. You must be sure thatyour Kicker and the team overall is read v before yOU aive the command.Receive the snap and place it quickly on the spot with laces away from theKicker. Be alert to yell "FIRE" on an,! malfunction. On field goal situations,you will be the Safety on the right half of the field.

KICKER
Pick out a spot for placement behind the ball 8 yards deep. Let the holderknow when you are ready. Concentrate on the holder's ~~. Whenit is picked up to receive the snap, start your approach. You will cover asSafety to the left half of the field on field goal situations. (Cover FIRE CALLwith Kicker) --whether blocker or Kil~ker --
