    Thornhill Liberal Candidate Bernie Farber Expresses Condolences on the Death of York Police Constable
    Bernie M. Farber, Ontario Liberal candidate in Thornhill, wishes to extend his deepest condolences to the family of York Regional Police Const. Garrett Styles, who was killed in the line of duty earlier today in East Gwillimbury after being struck by a vehicle. "The loss of a police officer is always a tragedy," remarked Farber. "It tells us that officers are human and vulnerable." Farber, who has close ties to police forces across Ontario, lauded the key work police officers do on a day to day basis. "Not only do they put themselves in harm's way, but often, the harm comes when they least expect it," Farber said. "I and the Liberal Party of Ontario extend our sympathies to Const. Garrett's wife Melissa and two young children." Farber will attend Const. Garrett's funeral. -30-
