 July 5, 2011Truman BSU Alumni and Friends,
I pray you are enjoying God’s grace in your life and His beautiful creation –
even the cicadas. Summerbrings longer days and I hope for you all, some time to enjoy life with family and friends. It is often inthose casual moments of talking that our faith is strengthened as we share our journeys. I continue tobe reminded of a verse that has become foundational to what we do here at the BSU.
“We were to share with you not only the gospel of God but our own
lives as well for you have
become so dear to us.” (1 Thes 2:8, NIV)
 Last year, several of you partnered with us to fund a full time Campus Missionary. We so appreciateyour support. The ministry has truly taken a step forward building on the foundation so many of youwere a part of constructing. Greg Xander

has done agreat job and he with the student leaders have a great year planned. See the attached letter for a wordfrom Greg about what is happening at the Truman BSU.We are asking for you to consider partnering with us so the ministry continues moving forwardimpacting lives at Truman. Our goals this year are twofold:1.
 
Raise funds for Greg’s salary so we will have resources available in our budget to cont
inue thelevel of ministry we have had in the past. The breakdown of gifts is listed below with theamount needed shown as $443/month still needed.Salary Donations Confirmed: MBC $833.33Private Salary Donation $1250.00BSU Budget $291.67Other Confirmed gifts $100.00Total $2475
Greg’s salary is $35,000/year or $2917.67 per month. This is comparable to the full time
Campus Missionaries at Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri BSUs.This leaves $443 ($442.67) additional support needed to minimize the impact on the BSU yearlybudget.2.
 
Raise additional funds to provide Greg and Stacy with insurance. This cost will be right at $350per month for both of them.
