Overall,theCMismakingprogresswithstafftoimplementtheprioritiesidentifiedduringthe2010CouncilWorkshop-hiringthosewithexpertise'inspecificareasandprovidingopportunitiesforcross-functionaltrainingsuchastheSafeandCleanTeams,TIDALWaveandotherinitiatives.TheCMwasquicktoproposeuseofcity-ownedpropertyforCommunityGardenswhichwasabigboostfortheinitiative.TheCMcontinuestoimproveonhiringawell-qualifiedworkforcethatcanreflectthediversityofourentirecommunity.
