Many homosexuals find great solace in the fact that the Bible says King Saul's son

Jonathon and the future King David loved one another. But not only this, Jonathan
stripped off his clothes in David's presence and they kissed each other.

When you read this, it does sound like that God condones homosexuality. But there
are other passages in the Bible that say God considers homosexuality an
abomination and requires anyone who is a male prostitute or a homosexual or a
lesbian to be put to death.

When God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, this was because homosexuality had
become one of the favorite pastimes of the men. Apparently whenever any male
stayed overnight in the walls of the city of Sodom, the men of the city would seek to
sodomize the man. The word 'sodomy', which is the legal term for anal intercourse,
comes from Sodom. Some people even jokingly refer to Gomorrah as Gonorrhea, to
suggest that sodomy was practiced in Sodom and unrestricted adultery and
fornication was practiced in Gomorrah. Gonorrhea being predominately a
heterosexual disease, while the more deadly disease syphilis is the result of anal sex.

In the Book of Romans, found in the New Testament, there is talk about venereal
diseases being punishment for men sodomizing other men and lesbians presumably
practicing cunnilingus. Genital herpes was supposedly more common among
lesbians, whereas anal cankers due to syphilis were more common among
homosexuals.

So while homosexuals might find some solace in the idea that Jonathan and David
might have been lovers, this does not mean they were sexually attracted to each
other.

There is nothing wrong with a man loving another man. A father is expected to love
his son and a son his father. A brother is expected to love his brother. Likewise a
mother is expected to love her daughter and a daughter her mother. A sister should
naturally love her sister. Love does not mean to be sexually attracted.

A man should love all men and a woman all women. In fact, everybody should love
everybody else. The Bible teaches that God requires of all men and women they they
learn to love one another. The Bible does not teach that all men are to have sexual
relations with each other and neither does it teach all women are to have sexual
relations with each other. In fact, only men and women are designed to have sexual
relations with each other, but only within the confines of the marriage.

Because God has only sanctioned sexual intercourse between a man and a woman
as a married couple, this is why adultery, fornication, prostitution, homosexuality,
sexual perversion and bestiality are condemned in the Bible as being unacceptable
to God, and those that do such things are not to have any inheritance in the
Kingdom of God. This, of course, does not mean that if have done any of those
things you cannot get into the Kingdom of God, only that if you are doing them, you
will not be given the inheritance God has for you. If you do not want your
inheritance from God, you can always give it to me.
