1. Geometric solids are three-dimensional shapes, that have length, breadth and height.

Cylinder Cube Edge Face Vertex Cuboid 2. A cuboid and a cube each has 8 vertices, 12 edges and 6 faces. 3. A cube is a special type of cuboid in which all the edges have the same length. 4. A cube and a cuboid can be made by joining 6 faces or by folding the layouts of the solids. 5. Volume is a measure of the amount of space occupied. 6. Volume of a cuboid = Length x Breadth x Height 7. Volume of a cube = Length x Length x Length Length Breadth Height
