Certified Housing Counselors (SHFPP Partners)
Certified housing counselors participating in the program provide freeforeclosure prevention counseling to homeowners receiving noticesunder this program. Once homeowners receiving notices take actionand call our hotline for help, they will be connected directly to one of over 20 local counseling agencies. These counseling agencies canset up an appointment for the homeowner to receive face-to-faceassistance in finding alternatives to foreclosure.
