It just shows how well regarded Navjot Sodhi was among hispeers, colleagues and students.”

Prakash – “We all know how
formal
Sodhi dressed for work. When Choy Leong first saw him he was a bit surprised – but soon he discovered the value of Sodhi as a package and became a strong supporter! Navjot wouldcontinually joke about me wearing long sleeved shirts (especially when I was the Acting Head) – and looking ‘official’ – but he could also look formal when it was critical. Sodhi went out and bought a dress shirt a few days before he was to receive his outstanding scientist award – believe it ornot, he owned a tie as well. I would guess one such occasion when hedressed up a bit formal was for the job interview here.”
