As we usher in a brand-new year, most people start thinking about New Year’s Resolutions. This year, as youmake resolutions or yoursel, don’t orget your pet, too! I know most o us are guilty o this.Given the paradigm shit o pets becoming more andmore human in our society, it is no surprise that one o the most common humanhealth problems has become the norm or pets as well: Obesity. Much like us, our pets generally seem to live on too little exercise and too unhealthy diets. I we’renot careul, this will eventually lead to obesity and a whole roster o health problemslater on. So, we’ve packed this issue o Bow & Wow Times with inormative articleson how to deal with obesity and tips on how to exercise your pet, in order to helpyou get your baby on a running start towards a healthy new liestyle. Exercising your baby daily will allow you to have good quality time together, and not to mention, alsohelp you shed those unwanted pounds gained over the holidays!Oh, in case you’re thinking o getting a new pet this year, read our article on tipsor choosing a pet as well as understanding the needs and behaviors o cats anddogs. Canine behavioral trainer Elsie Araneta and veterinarian Dr. Rizza Zunio alsoshare a thing or two about how best to care or a new pet (or an existing pet, or  that matter). In addition, we’ll have loads o cool new products in the store,and we’ll be launching our revamped Bow & Wow membership program to give allo our loyal customers more and more reasons to come to Bow & Wow.
