What is the purpose of the report?(what does this report mean) Who are the users and No of users? What is the volume of the data? What is the frequency of the execution of report? What are the parameters that should be prompted for the users which act as filters criteria when we execute the report? What are the type of filters?(single value, ranges or automated, default values) Is it a single report or multiple reports needs to be merged into a single report? Is it a simple report or a report with drilldown capabilities? If drilldown report on what fields the drilldown down should be done? Should the report will be simply executed or distributed? Should the report have any alerts displayed for any KPI reaching a threshold value? Is there any specific calculation which is specifically to be done at the report level? Is automated currency conversion or unit conversion to be done in the report? Authorization on report execution? What is the output design and format?(Rough Layout and excel/web/ webi over Bexquery)
