She has gone away We will name her Amy, the beaming father said with pride. For the namemeans beloved. And they knew she was. The years were not kind. Not to Amy. Or was it that she wasn't kind to herself? Seems tobehow it is with some. The flaring out of the best and brightest. Allthetalent in the world cannot defeat self destruction. Not when the personis that motivated to corrupt........Themselves.Drinking binges in the London Nightclubs made the headlinesall thetime. The tabloid rags stayed busy working double time. Oh therumorshit the fan like the proverbial shit as the saying went. She madea fortuneselling records that were lovely to the ear. Won awards and accoladesher mercurial rise seemed clear  So what happened to Amy, promising singer and shooting star? Why did she go away? How did she drift so far? And what causes therestlessness,The need to feel apart? What is it within some of us? This starry eyed,Shuffling step and wounded soul? Why do some intelligent human beingsseem to need to lose control?Hard to say. But the Heath Ledgers and the wonderful Kurt Cobain’sare here to stay. For a short but entertaining time. We watchthem burnout the fires of their lives and doesn't that make us feel just fine?
