cEZero is a software for Zero Defect Acceptance Sampling. cEZero software implements sampling plans with zero acceptance number (c=0) Six Good Reasons Here are six good reasons why you should use cEZero 1. Scientifically designed to give you adequate protection against sub-standard lot acceptance. 2. Small sample sizes. Save substantially on inspection costs. cEZero pays back for itself within one month. Subsequent savings are yours to keep. 3. cEZero enables you confirm to Quality Standards like ISO/TS 16949 which mandate Zero-Defect Sampling. 4. Quicker inspection cycles due to small samples. Improved throughput. 5. cEZero automatically suggests switching between Normal, Tightened and Reduced sampling based on standard switching rules. Reduced sampling, automatic risk protection. 6. cEZero maintains inspection records and history for quick and easy recall. This short presentation tells you How, in the next few slides.

cEZero is scientifically designed. It is derived from the ANSI z 1.4 standard for Zero Defect Attribute Acceptance Sampling. Scientific Design
Sample size is looked up From ANSI z1.4 Based on lot size and AQL
(ANSI Z is not a zero acceptance number sampling standard)
Risk of acceptance of Sub-standard lots (LTPD) is evaluated for the ANSI z1.4 plans
ANSI z1.4
A Zero Defect Sampling Plan designed. Same or marginally lower risk exposure to incorrect acceptance.
Facts: cEZero sampling plans are designed on the basis of Hypergeometric Probability function. Hypergeometric probability calculations are the most scientific method of deriving sample sizes and risks for finite sized lots. There is no approximation!

cEZero calculates sample sizes for zero acceptance number based on a finite lot size assumption, without making approximations Small Sample Sizes Smaller sample sizes given by cEZero save you inspection cost and effort, without sacrificing risk protection.
An example of typical savings from cEZero 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Incoming Lot Size Sample size recommended by ANSI z1.4 Sample size calculated by cEZero Reduction in sampling per lot = (2-3) Number of incoming lots in a month Saving per month in inspection effort Cost of inspecting one unit Savings per month 600 units 80 units 34 units 46 units 100 lots 4600 units $0.10 $460.00 Your savings in the first month and every month thereafter Comment A typical lot Acceptance number c=2 Acceptance number c=0 You save on inspection of 46 units per lot Typical number of lots You save on inspection of 4600 units per month
Assumptions: AQL = 1.0 Inspection Level = II Protection against sub-standard lot acceptance in cEZero is matched with ANSI z1.4 at F 0.10
cEZero implements zero defect (also termed as zero acceptance number or c=0) sampling plans Helps you confirm to standards Quality Standards around the world recommend zero defect sampling plans
ISO/TS 16949 7.1.2 Acceptance criteria: Acceptance criteria shall be defined by the organization and, where required, approved by the customer. For attribute data sampling, the acceptance level shall be zero defects.

cEZero automatically suggests implements sampling plan switching between Normal, Tightened and Reduced sampling Sampling Plan Switching cEZero tracks past performance of all suppliers for products they supply and suggests Tightened or Reduced sampling based on inspection history. Detailed switching rules specified by sampling standards are built into the software, and tedious manual tracking is not required.
