"Untouchable Presence"

By Topher Bank Passing me in silence The tinted panes you hide behind Reflect the world from every a side. No flashbulbs, nor candles, nor curious eyes Nor rays of our sun in the clear azure skies Can expose light upon your allure and sour lies. In the shade of the smokestacks you will always reside. The jaded shroud entrapping your mind Leads to a world most consider divine. You kneel with devotion; to the heavens you pray Sacrificing your soul to the night and the day As you count down your sins on the red rosary. Locked is the crimson oak door to your templed shrine. Dry clouds shadows hanging over ground Leave your field fallow; pure nature unsowed. Forever will rich unearthed soil remain chaste Without sprouts of prospect, your body will waste Mysteries linger where love has been placed. Spring will be lost if you forever stay burrowed. But you are still my untouchable everything In a world materializing To nothing.
