Day2:Arrival
WearriveatBenGurionAirportwherewewillbemetbyourIsraeliguidewhowillaccompanyusduringourentirestayinIsrael.WetravelnorthwardtoourhotelforonenightinthecoastalareanearTelAviv.TheremainderofthedayisfreetowalkalongtheMediterranean,relax,andhavedinner.Thetimeisrightforapersonaldevotionalwiththesunsetoverthe"GreatSea."Enjoyatimeofprayerofthanksforsafetyandthespecialblessingsahead,aprayerforthepeopleofthisland,andagoodnight'srest.touristcenterwhichhelpsChristianscon-nectwithIsraelandtheJewishrootsoftheirfaith.Wewillhavefreetime,dinnerandovernightlodgingforthenexttwonightsintheTiberiasareaontheSeaofGalilee.
Day4:Galilee
Followingbreakfast,ourmorningtravelstakeustovaluablenorthernsites.WewillvisitthecitiesofKatzrinandGamalaandhaveashorttimetowalkaroundeachbeforegoingtoCaesareaPhilippiisthesiteofPeter'sConfession.TravelbacktotheGalileeregionandstopinCapernaumwherewewillvisittheruinsofanancientsynagogueandPeter'shome.Thenwetravelontothesiteofthepossiblemulti-plicationofloavesandfishesinBethsaidaandtheMountoftheBeatitudesoverlook-ingtheSea.AfterviewingtheancientFishermanBoatatanoperatingKibbutz,weenjoyarelaxingcruiseontheSeaofGalilee.AbriefscripturereadinganddevotionalonboardbringstolifetheexperiencesofJesusandthefishermendisciplesconcludingawonderfulday.
Day7:Jerusalem
ThismorningwevisittheSouthernWallExcavationsandDavidsonCenter.ThissouthernsideofTheTemplewasthemainentranceforthecommonfolk,whereasthePriestsandLeviteshadtheirownentrancefromthehighereasternside.Partsofthegiantstairs,whichledtotheTempleMountfromthecourtyardhavebeenunearthedalongwiththepurificationpools.FromhereJesusenteredtheTempleMountanddroveoutthevendorsandmoneyexchangerswhowereexploit-ingthepeople.ItisalsolikelythatthisistheplacethatPeterstoodandpreachedandwherethousandsweresavedandbaptizedontheDayofPentecost.AfterabreakforlunchonyourownintheoldcitywewilltourJewishQuarterincludingtheMenoraandBurntHouse.End
