After reading this e-book I have achieved something I have been searching for by entire life.
I have tried Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism etc to try and find my true self and enlightenment but after reading this book and looking into the Church of the SubGenius I have finally been liberated.
It is amazing how a "joke" religion saved my life but it did.
After looking into this I have found out that This church was actually started by three people J.R. "Bob" Dobbs
who does indeed exist. Zen master Phillo Drummond and reincarnated
bodhisvatta the Rev. Ivan Stang.
The three founders needed a way to spread the truth of what reality really
is and found all the other methods previously used unacceptable so they
founded this "joke" religion to attract the members they wanted, those who
were not afraid to laugh at themselves and this very life.
The actual dogma of the church does, if you look close enough subtlety point
you in the right direction:
Time Control: Is simply living in each moment what all enlightened masters
have teached.
The CONSPIRACY: Is simply a term used to describe the great illusion of our
own perceptions.
"Bob": Although he does exist the avatar which the Church uses a.k.a. the
"Dobbshead" is a well designed image to awaken the masculine and feminine
energy in you, the white and black dots are uniquely placed to emphasize the
duality of light and darkness and the Pipe is a simple phallice representing
Man and the smoke and frop is the feminine aspect.
To quote the ultimate giveaway line by "Bob" that is taught by all masters
"Everything you know is true"
So why go to all this trouble to teach wisdom? Simple, it had to be done to
attract the right people and keep those religionists who would spoil the
divine teaching at bay. The purest spiritual teachings are not spiritual.
Wow, finally a religion I can believe. All Hail Bob!
