In the middle of the night Caislyn Vadoma auto-sketches a scene in which her parents are kidnapped from the family bookstore. She awakens in the morning to find that her sketch, a rare glimpse into the future, has already become reality.

Jasmine DeLaney leaves her life behind when an abusive boyfriend puts her in the hospital. She becomes Jaxon, an art consultant in a new town, always looking over her shoulder for the danger she knows will catch up to her eventually.

As Caislyn scrambles for clues to her parents' whereabouts, she casts a spell that leads her to Jaxon. From the moment they meet, the girls are immersed in a world of chaos and secrets. Finding out they are part of a very dangerous prophecy not only has them on the run, but discovering their own hidden pasts as well.

While trying to come to grips with who they are, how they fit into this prophecy, and where Caislyn's parents are the girls must also face the fact that the stalker vampire who appears to be helping them, may just be putting them in more danger.

Disappearances & Discoveries
Caislyn had been reading the newest best-seller that shegrabbed from downstairs in her family's bookstore, HiddenDimensions, when she nodded off. At first her dreams werefilled with thoughts of Jack Kanon's loss and his travels to findhis daughter's killer, but soon the images in her dream beganto swirl together like a watercolor that had been submerged.Images grew darker and then as they began to clear she foundherself in the bookstore downstairs. Of course, she wasn'tphysically there, she was seeing Hidden Dimensions as if shewere floating above it all, watching the drama unfold.Vesta whispered to Mac, “This is it, we've found it.”“Vesta,” Mac started to say to his wife as he looked towardthe front door of Hidden Dimensions, “they're here.” Caislynwatched as her father began chanting incantations to setpowerful wards of protection on the book store, concentratingmost of his energy on the upstairs apartment.Vesta began an incantation of her own. Whispering thewords under her breath, Vesta flicked her wrist toward herassistant Melina, throwing her weight behind the spell. Melinawas caught up in a cyclone of power and thrown from the storeby the force of Vesta's will and the power of her words. As soonas Melina was clear of the place the doors slammed shut oncemore. Vesta took one last glance over at her husband who wasstill busy setting wards, then she took her athame from aspecial pouch that hung about her waste. The silver of theceremonial dagger glinted in the soft light of the book store. The jeweled handle that held a sapphire moon sparkled dimly,in search of the right light to present itself in all it‘s glisteningglory. Vesta poked the sharp tip into the middle of her indexfinger letting fly a droplet of blood before she held it over thebook that was still sitting in front of her, as she began to softlychant once more.“Revealed only to the blood of my blood, seen only throughher eyes. Secrets remain hidden until a need arise. Away yougo to lands afar, a house in the hills, behind the scar. Blessedbe this book of ours, hidden amongst a house of charms, untilpowers overcome their binds, truth be kept, for her to find.”With a touch of her finger and a droplet of her blood thebook disappeared from the room in a quick, bright, flash of light. Vesta looked to her husband as he walked toward her, putting himself between her more fragile body and the frontdoor just seconds before it imploded on them allowing an army
