You people know absolutely nothing about firearms. This machune carbine fires from an open bolt. When the bolt is drawn back against the return spring it is stopped from moving forward by the sear. When the trigger is pulled the sear drops releasing the bolt to fly foreward, and in doing so the bolt strips a round from the magazine, chambers it and fires it simultaniuously. This results in the bolt being blown back by the recoil force of the round. If the trigger is released the sear returns to the position it was in before the gun was fired and holds back the bolt and instantly stopping the gun firing. This gun will only carry on firing as long as the trigger is pulled back and there is ammo to feed it.

From my experiences with other firearms I would say that this gun when the trigger is pulled would expend an entire magazine after the trigger is pulled, if you took your finger off the trigger it would continue to fire and only stop upon the magazine being empty. The bolt would not return back to the trigger, it is too far back from the bore, but this is nessicary to ensure the first round is struck with enough force and that recoil forces the bolt back to strike the next round after extraction...

You are right. It would be hilarious if that happens. I asked because you said "The firing pin is fixed so it will shoot until it runs out of ammo"

@ Nitro72 : it will be hilarious if it not stop when you release trigger the lower receiver (page13) that the released trigger blocks the bolt after ammo is ignited and the bolt is in the end position - at left, away from barrel.

Will it continue to fire even when the trigger is released?
