Following is a short description of how the random number generator works.

This article describes the formula syntax and usage of the RANDBETWEEN function (function: A prewritten formula that takes a value or values, performs an operation,

and returns a value or values. Use functions to simplify and shorten formulas on a worksheet, especially those that perform lengthy or complex calculations.) in

Microsoft Excel.

Description
Returns a random integer number between the numbers you specify. A new random integer number is returned every time the worksheet is calculated or by simply

pressing the [F9] key.

Syntax RANDBETWEEN(bottom, top)

The RANDBETWEEN function syntax has the following arguments (argument: A value that provides information to an action, an event, a method, a property, a function,

or a procedure.):

Bottom Required. The smallest integer RANDBETWEEN will return.

Example Formula = RANDBETWEEN(1,59)
