Ron Gorrel Summary Performance Evaluation Senior Buyer Accomplishments Ron Gorrel is both a dedicated and loyal employee.

His obvious strengths include consistency, persistence, and a ton of patience. The rough start reported last year, result of new employees, was repeated in the first quarter of the new calendar year due to the medical leave taken by Wondra Julien. Ron was instrumental in coping with this loss by reassigning the workload within the team. Ron is commended for his work to sustain a consistent level of service during this period. Ron is especially commended for his development and the productivity gains of Ellious Dunson. We have again observed marked increases in his production throughout the year. Concerns Although minimal in number, managements concerns are not without importance. Ron needs to improve his communication with management and be more open and proactive when discussing team management issues. This was discussed last year an continues to be of concern. This behavior must be corrected. Ron failed to schedule all monthly meetings as directed last year. This behavior must be corrected or management will be forced to and will make a change in team supervision.

Goals and Accomplishments New Fiscal Year. Regular Meetings with management on a monthly basis. Beginning or end of each month but Ron is to schedule them with Mary Ann Wilhoit. Development of Monthly report for assigned team to be discussed during monthly meetings; brief onepage update of buyer workload, using data that can be obtained from the purchasing system. Ron to discuss format with Dave Maddlone. Identification, development, and completion of five new commodity/equipment contracts during the year within the Scientific Team. Two (2) each were assigned to Wondra and Roger with the remaining one assigned to Ellious Dunson. Provide a written report on the status of both the Steris and Kewanee Contracts. Show progress by reducing transaction workload by delegation or other means so more time can be spent on supervisory issues.
