Maybe I did not find it but is

control-option-command-8 listed?

gets really handy for dark surroundings, but has to be activated before in the settings.

Hi, just had to say thank you - this morning my cat walked over my keyboard and changed the colors to some silly mess - i've been trying to fix it all day - white on black shortcut it was. Thanks.

On OLDER MAC's to take a picture of the screen use "shift" + "control" + the number "3" You will hear a shutter click. Then when you go to Insert it will show as Picture 1

White on Black... what's the point of this command? The reason I ask is because my dog walked across my keyboard and managed to hit this mysterious keyboard shortcut. Thank you very much for posting these odd shortcuts... otherwise I would have needed to go to the mac store for help. You saved me a lot of time!

First, go to this webpage. Then, highlight the heart symbol in your comment, and press Command-C. Then, whenever you want to type the heart symbol, press Command-V.

apple+shift+3 = printscreen
apple+shift+4 = crosshairs(drag over what you want)
apple+shift+4 then press space = selection of window you want a picture of.
