Wow! Fantastic! The reader is drawn into this woman's sense of self and it reflects back on all of us, each with our daily struggles, some more difficult than others, some more precious, but still a sense of oneness with our kindred "She was born once too - so he could breath...so he can now heal". I never looked at it so eloquently as this phrase presents it. Well done!!

So well-written, effective in getting compassion, in reviewing your own life for it's luck in not facing this, or pain in having had to. The descriptions of the contrasts is artfully done and we are there.

the healing power of the nurturing mother wo can literally 'kiss it and make it better' - "so he could breath, so he could / laugh and so he could now heal" - excellent, michelle
