unpack the rear end sub-assembly, the main frameassembly, and the parts box.begin charging the battery(10 hours)slide the stem into the headtube, then tighten the wedgebolt securely

insert the stem into the headtube, align the handlebars tobe perpendicular to the fork,then tighten the wedge bolt

turn the tricycle upside down,so its weight rests on the seatand handlebarsloosen, but do not remove, thefour carriage bolts shown
locate the extra chain wrappedaround the rear axle, hereafterreferred to as the “transferchain.”tighten the four carriagebolts. note the properalignment of the front andrear frame sections. whenproperly adjusted, thetransfer chain should haveabout 1/4in of vertical play
* tighten bolts to 450in-lbs (50Nm)
