Amicus curiae Jon B. Eisenberg is an attorney specializing inappellate law and a founding partner at Eisenberg & Hancock LLP inOakland, California. Mr. Eisenberg has three decades of experiencein appellate litigation and has argued dozens of cases in the CaliforniaCourts of Appeal and Ninth Circuit and eleven cases in the CaliforniaSupreme Court. Mr. Eisenberg is a widely published author onappellate matters, a frequent commentator on topics of stateconstitutional law, and the principal co-author of the leading treatiseon California appellate procedure.
