Outcomes and Impacts
1. In 2011, the An Giang best pracce model
Mot Phai, Nam Giam
was changed into the AgriculturalCompeveness Project of the World Bank.2. In 2010, the diusion of ecologically basedrodent management (EBRM) in the Mekong andRed River deltas led to an esmated 20,000 farmersadopng the technology. Aer implemenng EBRM,rodent damage was reduced by 33–50%, rice yieldswere increased by 2–5%, and rodencide use wasreduced by 62–90%.3. Laser leveling was cered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as a technologythat can be promoted through the extension system.4. The impacts of rice diseases, pests, and weedswere characterized at 6 sites (3 sites in the MekongDelta and 3 in the Red River Delta).
