Sid Jacobson JCC honored the accomplishments of Great Neck’s Martin Rosenman at the 26th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing, presented by Steven Schonfeld, which took place on August 1, 2011 at Old Westbury Golf & Country Club. The JCC also paid a special tribute to Honorary Chairperson David Nussbaum as a Man of Distinction.

East Hills, NY–Sid Jacobson JCChonored the accomplishments of Great Neck’sMartin Rosenman at the26
Annual Golf & Tennis Outing, presented by StevenSchonfeld, which took place on August 1, 2011 atOld Westbury Golf & CountryClub. The JCC also paid a special tribute to Honorary Chairperson DavidNussbaum as a Man of Distinction.In a sold-out day of sporting and philanthropy, the Golf & Tennis Outing raisedover $300,000 for desperately needed social services at the JCC. Funds will godirectly to programs such as Camp Kehilla, a summer camp for children on theautism spectrum, and the Friendship Circle, a day program for the frail elderlyaffected with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. This year’s event gaveparticipants the opportunity to take a personal interest in these populations,allowing people to purchase meals for those in the Friendship Circle or scholarships for children at Camp Kehilla.“I have people personally who have gone through the programs at the JCC,whether it’s for autism, cancer or Young Onset Alzheimer’s disease,” honoreeMartin Rosenman said, after being introduced by JCC Board President DebraBuslik. “Sid Jacobson JCC has saved lives.”Rosenman has been active in Jewish philanthropy since he moved to Great Neckin 1972. He has served as overall chair for UJA-Federation of New York LongIsland, as well on the boards of theJ ewish Child Care Association, theJewish National Fundand Sid Jacobson JCC. He is also active with theFriends of theIsrael Defense Forcesand is an Associate Trustee of the North Shore HealthSystem.Man of Distinction David Nussbaum, a Roslyn Heights resident,
