Fabric requirements
 
2x 14” x 7” outer fabric
 
 
2x 14” x 7” lining fabric
 
2x 14” x 7” heavyweight interfacing
 
 
4x 4
½
“ diameter circles (your choice of fabric)
 
 
Zip at least 13 inch
Seam allowance
 
1cm
Instructions
 
Iron Heavyweight interfacing onto the lining fabric
 
 
Fold and Press one of the longer edges of each piece of the outer fabric over
½
inch
 
Place these recently pressed edges on either side of thezip’s teeth and pin
 
Use the zipper foot and stitch down each side
 
 
Put right sides together and stitch down the side parallelto the zip
 
It will now look like a cylinder shape when opened up
 
Keep it as a cylinder shape and take one of the circles,pin this circle on to the end of the cylinder using lots of pins to even out the fabric
 
Pin about 1cm in all the way round then machine stitchall the way round, doing only a few stitches at a time,making sure underneath is flat and taking out the pins asyou go
 
Repeat this on the other side and then turn the rightway through and press open the seams
 
Now take the two pieces of lining fabric and put rightsides together and stitch down one of the longer sides
 
 
Press and fold along the longer edges parallel to theseam about 1cm then press the middle seam open
 
Curl into a cylinder like shape so both of the longeredges meet
 
Now use lots of pins as before and pin the circles on toeach end and stitch slowly and carefully all the wayround.
