Assemblywoman Rivera Kicks off Her Summer Events Series With Hit Musical Group Alive N Kickin

Bronx, NY- On August 11th Assemblywoman Naomi Rivera will host a concert headlining popular New York band Alive N Kickin at Loretto Park (between Morris Park Ave. and Tomlinson Ave.) starting at 7:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend what promises to be an exciting night of music and dance. Alive N Kickin is a Brooklyn based band that first got its start in 1968. The group quickly achieved critical acclaim in 1970, selling over one million singles and receiving gold disk status from the R.I.A.A. They are known for their incredibly versatile sound, with music ranging from classic Motown to Latin, dance, and hip-hop. Not only does the popular Summer Events Series allow Bronx residents the opportunity to see popular local talent and Hollywood releases, it also provides them the opportunity to connect with Assemblywoman Naomi Rivera and her staff. A wide array of informational material and other constituent services are readily available. . Each year Assemblywoman Rivera partners with Cablevision, Bronx Council on the Arts, and Beth Abraham Family of Health services for the Annual Summer Events Series. The Alive N Kickin concert is just one of the many events that will be held throughout this years summer series. This event is free, and all are invited to attend.
