Registrant herebyresponds, solely for the purpose of this proceeding, to each of the grounds set forth in thePetition to Cancel, as follows:1. Registrant admits that Exhibit A attached to the Petition to Cancel contains onedefinition of the word “urban.” “Urban Homestead” and “Urban Homesteading” are not listed inthe Merriam-Webster online dictionary.2. Registrant admits that Exhibit A attached to the Petition to Cancel contains onedefinition of the word “homestead.” “Urban Homestead” and “Urban Homesteading” are notlisted in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary.3. The phrase “commonly known” in Paragraph 3 of the Petition to Cancel iswithout definition. Furthermore, the statements in Paragraph 3 appear to be speculation oropinion, and not statements of facts, and therefore are not appropriate for admission or denial.
