ThispamphletwaspublishedfirstinJuly,1932,withtheobjectofexplainingbrieflytheoriginoftheSocialistPartyofGreatBritainanditsattitudetowardssomeoftheissuesconfrontingtheworkers.Thepam-phletprovedtobeausefuladditiontoPartyliteratureandwassellingsteadilyuptothetimewhentheeditionof10,000copieswasexhausted.
It
wasdecidedtoissuearevisededitionbutvariouscircumstanceshavedelayedpublicationuntilnow.TheprincipalchangesmadeinthisrevisededitionaretheomissionofthechapteronvVar,theinclusionofachapteronReligionowingtothepamphlet"SocialismandReligion')nowbeingoutofprint,anextended
