TheLORDVERSION:
The New Simplified Bible LORD Version uses thetitle LORD where the Hebrew letters for God's name YHWH is in the text. The translator adopted thedevice used in most English versions of renderingthat name as “LORD” in capital letters. It is important to honor God's divine name. Howeverthere are millions of sincere individuals who honestly don't know His name. They only read translationsthat use the substitute title "the LORD." The New Simplified Bible LORD Version uses the title LORD while including the most accepted names for Godmore than 200 times thru out the publication. It is my fervent prayer that you, the reader, willaccept the custom of using God’s name and switch toa translation that faithfully presents His Name. You will find the introduction to many books of theNSB recognize God’s name: “
(Tetragrammaton: YHWH is sometimes translated Jehovah, Yahovah, Yahweh, Yahowah, Yahuwah, or LORD depending ontranslator’stheology).”Sincerely,
