With circular needle, using A, cast on 272 sts. DO NOT join. Work back and forth inPat St for 16”, end on WS.
Divide for Armholes: Next Row (RS):
Work 95(90) sts, join another hank of color(s) being used, work 82(92) sts, join another hank of color(s) being used, work toend. Continue to work even in Pat St, using separate hank(s) of yarn for each sectionuntil piece measures 24(25)” from beg, end on WS.
Joining Row (RS):
Work all the way across with first hank(s), dropping other hanksso that all sts are now worked with same hank(s) of yarn – 272 sts. Continue to workeven in Pat St until piece measures 40(41)” from beg, end on WS. Bind off.
 SLEEVES
With straight needles, using A, cast on 40(44) sts. Work even in Pat St for 2”, end onWS. Inc 1 st each side on next row, then every 1(3/4)” 15(18) times more, workingincs into Pat St as sts become available – 72(82) sts. Work even until sleeve measures18” from beg, end on WS. Bind off.
 FINISHING
Sew sleeve seams. Sew sleeves into armholes.
