Objectives:
By the end of a two-day professional development experience with GloballyConnected Learning Consulting, participants will have learned about the urgency of globalizing the curriculum based on their new understanding of a globalinterconnected world, 21st century skills and literacies in education. Participants willhave started building a personal learning network to become globally connectededucators.
Methodology
 
Participants of the workshop will spend two days working collaboratively as alearning community. They will use web 2.0 tools as they upgrade lessons and unitsto globalize their teaching and classroom. Participants experience new forms of global learning first hand. The workshop is designed to practice strategies that thetheory behind 21st century pedagogy preaches and get educators started on a pathto global awareness, globally connected learning and an interconnected world.
