With 45,000 copies of the annual print Ride Calendar distributed extensively throughout Michigan and beyond, you wont find a better place to advertise your bicycle-related event or business. Additionally, we now offer advertising on our website which receives over 10,000 visits per month. The Michigan Ride Calendar continues to be LMBs signature publication and an essential resource for bicycle enthusiasts in Michigan and beyond. The League annually publishes and distributes 45,000 free Ride Calendars, listing over 250 bicycling events in Michigan. Ride Calendars are distributed extensively throughout the state at all MDOT Welcome Centers, Convention & Visitors Bureaus, all known bicycle clubs and shops, and numerous bicycle-related events. Ride Calendars are also distributed to all LMB members and to individuals requesting Michigan biking and tourism information. The League of Michigan Bicyclists annual Ride Calendar is a full color publication that bicyclists keep and refer to again and again throughout the cycling season.

Advertising Details

Online Calendar Advertising Rates

LMB is now offering online advertising on the LMB website which averages over 10,000 visits per month. Advertisements are on a month-to-month basis so you decide when and how long you want your ad to run. Web advertisements will appear prominently on the online Ride Calendar page where the advertisements will rotate randomly at regular intervals. Your ad will include a hot link to the url of your choice. Web advertising is $25 per month with a three-month minimum. $1 Per Rider Events and advertisers who run a full-page spot in the print addition of the Ride Calendar are eligible for a FREE web ad for three months. Those who take out a 1/2 page or a 2/3 page ad in our print publication are eligible for 1/2 off our web pricing. ($12.50 per month)

All print ads must be electronic files and received no later than November 21st. There is no deadline for online advertising. Acceptable electronic files include press quality (full size at 300 dpi) PDF, TIFF, Photoshop or Illustrator formats. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to provide anything in a format other than those listed above. Ads created in Microsoft Word will not print properly. Please embed all fonts, logos and other graphics or convert them to outlines. Make sure all elements of your advertisement are saved as CMYK. Please include a printout of your ad with your signed contract. Artwork needing alterations or corrections will be subject to additional charges. Have Us Design Your Ad:

Contracts: A signed contract is required for placement of ads in the Ride Calendar or on the LMB website. Payment: Advertisers are required to pay in advance. Acceptance: The LMB reserves the right to refuse any advertisement deemed unacceptable. Photos used in advertisements must show bicyclists following all Michigan bicycling laws. We will not print advertisements that use photos of cyclists riding more than two abreast. We also strongly encourage you to select photos that show subjects that are wearing helmets if they are actually riding a bike.
