ABSTRACT THE CORRELATION BETWEEN RELIGIOUS MOTIVATION AND IMUNITY OF STRESS TO PREVENT PSYCOSOMATIC PROBLEMS (STUDY CASE AT PUSKESMAS ASTAPADA CIREBON INDONESIA) The Paradigm of healty living is the one of supporting effort to improve the quality of Human being , This thesis is expected to give constribution in psychology education of Islam, not just in education field but also for the society in general. Motivation religious are the motif for devote Allah to reach the goal of life. Which is prove by good mind and good attitude to get Allah ridho “ Say Verily , my salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the lord of the alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists) Al-An’am 162. Imunity of stress is the scale to measure the quality of life , this scale adapted from The scale of Smith and Miller. The better imunity of stress will increase the prevention from all kind diseases. Psycosomatic problem is Mentally induced: describes a physical illness that is caused by mental factors such as stress, or the effects related to such illnesses. This research is empiric quantitative approach in survey method , with sampling purposive include 200 respondence as a patients at Puskesmas Astapada during December 2007. Using interview and questioners with likert scale. The result of the research show that there are high positive significant correlation between motivation religious to prevention psychosomatic problems equal 76,3 % , middle positive significant correlation between immunity of stress with prevention of psychosomatic problem equal 34.7% and strong positive correlation 77,8 % simultaneous between motivation religious and immunity of stress to prevention the cause of psychosomatic problems.
