Common Core Standards

At the bottom of this page, youll notice 4 bullets with I Can statements. The common core standards are standards that many states in the US are beginning to use. They are a progression of learning expectations, written out for each grade level. Each week I will share some of the standards we are working on in class, and write them in child-friendly I can terms, so you can clearly see some of the skills your child is working on. Please use these as ideas for working with your child at home. I will share more information about these standards in the coming weeks.
