Her Guests, played bKathy McFarlane, Shirley Corner and Cathy Rombouts(all women) return year after year. Her next door neigh- bor, the elderly, silver-tongued, Bud “Bud the Stud” Da- vis, played by Ted Mitchell, believes they come to spentime with him in romantic liaisons. The prim and propeMrs. Stancliffe, Linda Hunt, steadfastly denies this, bureally doesn’t do anything to prevent it. She reluctant-ly accepts the fact that “Bud the Stud” is, in fact, goofor business. Her other neighbor and would-be suitoHenry Mitchell, portrayed by Don Hunt, is a retirechemist who has developed a blue pill called “Venusia, after Venus the goddess of love, to increase the libido omenopausal women. The pill has not been tested. Add to the guest list three older women: Victori Ambrose, a romance novelist whose personal life seemsto be lacking in romance; Hillary Hudson a friend oHenry’s who has agreed to test the Venusia: and Char-maine Beauregard, a “Southern Belle” whose libido doesnot need to be increased! When Bud pops some of th Venusia pills, the fun begins, as he attempts to enter-tain all three women! The women replace Bud’s Viagrpills with the Venusia, and we soon discover that it hasa strange effect on men: it gives them all the symptoms
of menopausal women, complete with hot ashes, moo
swings, weeping and irritability! When the mayhem set-
tles down, all the women nd their lives moving in ne
and surprising directions.Opening night is Friday, August 26th, with showsalso on Saturday, August 27th and the following week-end, September 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $1adult and $8 for seniors.
