These forensic lab reports prove that the T-shirt which was taken from Efren's bedroom after his arrest did not contain blood. It was an old shoe police rag.
The reports also prove that Efren's shoes (which he wore the evening when the crime occurred) did not contain blood or any other trace evidence (e.g., gun powder residue). This is only one of the things that proves he did not commit the crime or he would have had blood or other trace evidence on them such as gunpowder residue.
The Berrien County Prosecutor and the media maliciously reported the T-shirt and Efren's shoes contained bloodstains. They knowingly and intentionally disseminated this false information to frighten the community and make them believe Efren was guilty.
The sad thing is that innocent members of the community have believed these lies for nearly two decades. This and other false and misleading evidence can be clearly refuted. The prosecutor and media colluded to manufacture these blatant lies.
