There was a decrease in total units sold in July, with 92 soldthis month in Columbia versus 93 last month, a decrease of 1%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this timelast year, an increase of 12% versus July 2010.Versus last year, the total number of homes available thismonth is lower by 46 units or 9%. The total number of activeinventory this July was 473 compared to 519 in July 2010.This month's total of 473 is lower than the previous month'stotal supply of available inventory of 499, a decrease of 5%.Last July, the median sale price for Columbia Homes was$306,500. This July, the median sale price was $327,500, anincrease of 7% or $21,000 compared to last year. The currentmedian sold price is 2% higher than in June.
Median sale price is the middle sale price in a given month. The same numberof properties are above & below the median.
