Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered by theUS federal government, not by James Earl Ray. Let
ʼ
sstop lying about this andtell the truth.Any school-age child can Google-up the truth aboutthe King assassination, which reveals the USgovernment
ʼ
s scheme, so what
ʼ
s the point of keepinga lid on it? Legitimacy for the USgovernment? TheUS government hasno legitimacyat this point in timeanyway so, again, what
ʼ
s the point of keeping thetruth about Dr King
ʼ
s murder a secret?It
ʼ
s time for many things to change in America, andfor some things to stay the same.I am with Dr King: America needs tolive-upto it
ʼ
screed, which is found in the Declaration ofIndependence:“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they areendowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”Does any American have a problem with this? I don
ʼ
t, and Dr King certainlydidn
ʼ
t.Should we re-write the above for postmodern, theophobic America?“We hold this opinion: that all humankind is the product of mere chance, that we are notendowed by any mythical “Creator” with certain unalienable Rights, but are granted bythe government those rights which the government sees fit. Government can both grantand take away rights from humankind.”Perhaps the federal government in Washington never should have allowed theKingMemorialto be built. Not because it wasmade in China, but because there is no point to it. Dr King was a religious fanatic and all such religious fanaticism is out of fashiontoday. Americans are very busy killing people en masse the world over - as well as hereat home - so what in the world do we want to be reminded of Dr King for?Today, in America, the most violent place for a black American is inher mother's womb.King loved America and hated war. King loved people and hated oppression. King lovedeternal law and hated lawlessness. King thought we should get to know, rather thanhate, one another. King thought of all peoples as being equal, not as some people beingmore equal than others (or above the law).
