Te work in this exhibition includes intimate mixed mediainvestigations o private space as well as a large-scale drawing intervention across the walls o the Rutledge Galler. Whetherblotting out everthing in an image but the oorboards in orderto take note o momentar constellations and pathwas throughseemingl amiliar space, or erasing the clutter o dail lie to create‘unobstructed’ views, the work repeatedl draws attention to stateso in between, shiing our attention between object and its shadow, present experience and memor. Obstacles and obstructions becomeas important to shaping ‘the view’ as that which is seen beond anopening, giving a subtle nudge towards reconsidering what we knowor assume about the amiliar.
