A trial of a LAM scheme was introduced on6 September 2002 which allows novice riders (learner and provisional) to ride moderately poweredmotorcycles up to 660ml.The list of motorcycles that can be ridden by learner and provisional riders can be obtained by:·contacting the RTA Call Centre on 13 22 13·attending any motor registry·visiting the RTA website at
