    Come on out and enjoy the festivities... Join the Michigan and Metro Detroit AFL-CIO for the Annual 2011 Labor Day Parade. This one parade has two routes, Michigan Avenue and Woodward Avenue. The Michigan Route for the Building Trades unions and the Teamsters will step off from Trumbull and Michigan at 9 a.m. The Woodward Route for the UAW and all other AFL-CIO unions and our friends will step off from Mack and Woodward at 9:30am. The two routes merge at Campus Martius and marchers from both routes end at the foot of Hart Plaza. This year we will be joined after the parade by President Barack Obama, and other special guest. Join us!!
