uk Personal Profile I am a very personable individual with many years of experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment, 7 of which at a management level. In my role as a manager I am very focused in what I do and strive for perfection in all aspects of my work. I am a very practical and patient individual but I work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, I enjoy the challenges that being a manager can bring and I enjoy working as part of a team and also on my own under my own initiative. I am a very hands on manager and lead from the front but am not afraid to delegate work when necessary Work Experience TNT Fulfilment Services July 2006 Present Title: Warehouse Foreman until September 2008 then promoted to Warehouse Supervisor I was first employed at TNT Fulfilment as a Warehouse Foreman, my daily duties in this role included: ensuring that all goods were despatched correctly and on time and ensuring that all staff performed at the required level to meet KPI targets. In September 2008 I was promoted to Warehouse Supervisor, as well as my previous responsibilities I was required to carry out disciplinary hearings and counselling sessions and also carry out performance reviews, my responsibilities soon increased to involve managing the HSE files for our location and organising services for fork lifts and ordering of packaging materials, I was also involved in generating quotes for new business as my knowledge of our services and costs was equal to that of my manager whos work I cover in his absence, I am heavily involved in all changes that occur and take a very proactive and practical approach to change management, I am always looking for new, more efficient ways of getting a job done and am open to other peoples ideas and willing to try new ways of doing things. I have a keen eye for detail and a good memory for remembering important information which I find extremely helpful in a warehouse environment as I find you need to be able to do a lot of different task at any one time, which can be a challenge but it is an aspect of the job I enjoy as it brings a high level of satisfaction when the work is all completed at the end of the day. Among my other duties I am responsible for all the onsite safety training which includes office safety, manual handling and fire safety. In my role I have seven full-time direct reports and a varying number of agency staff to manage, coach and review.
