FH survey CS job ad skills
Info collected from 30 content strategy jobs adverts in summer 2010 and thenpasted into a CV-style format:-8 UK jobs on 18 July 2011-2 UK job on 25 July 2011, 19 US-1 UK job 1 August 2011Survey scope: Intended to cover worldwide postings but European jobsearches were localised so I was unable to find localised search terms for content strategy/ist or to translate. Hence there is a US and UK bias. (Open tohelp with this if anyone is able to translate European language ads.)Note: essentially the info below is acting as a data dump and an initialrecording of the type of skills and requirements that employers are seekingwhen hiring for a content strategy role. It’s a little messy but it builds aninteresting picture of the current market requirements.
