The Wind ‘N Go® 2-Way Radio is a
22-Channel FRS/GMRS radio and 2 LED ashlight.This dual function radio also includes 38 CTCSSprivacy codes per channel, VOX voice activatedtransmission for hands-free use, auto scan andmonitoring of all channels, 10 call alert tones,keypad lock, and cell phone charger. The LCDscreen is backlit and the housing is weatherproof.#7910 comes with 2 radios and an AC/DC adapter that charges both units at the same time. Theradios may also be charged using the dynamohand crank for emergency power generation. Mayalso be charged with a 12V vehicle charger (#7991sold separately).

more than just a walkie talkie. In addition to thestandard 2-way radio communication, this unitalso features a 2 LED ashlight, which makes ituseful in situations where the power may be out.Another unique feature is the dynamo chargingsystem. If the power runs out of the rechargeablebatteries, just wind it up for additional power. Thisfeature can be very useful if the power is out for extended periods of time. With 22 channels andan additional 38 privacy codes this radio offers avast array of possible communication frequencies,even in areas with crowded airspace.
Uses:
2-Way communication for camping, hiking,hunting, car travel and many other personal uses. Useas a method of communication for event management,facility management and especially ideal for useduring extended power outages using the dynamohand crank. You can expect a range of 1-3 miles inand around buildings or other obstructed areas. Incompletely wide-open areas up to 10 miles may beachieved. Optimal operating conditions would be withan unobstructed line of site. Range may be reducedbased on conditions including weather, power lines,and geography.

Read all instructions before operating.Do not look directly at the light as it may cause injury.To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not submergethe unit or its accessories in any liquid. Unit emits aradio frequency. Do not use within 6 inches of anypacemaker. Do not carry in the breast pocket if youhave a pacemaker. Follow instructions on posted signsin areas where RF transmission can be dangerous.Unit is water resistant but not waterproof. Administer close supervision when using around children.
