Introduction"Esther" in the Hebrew tongue, means "a star", or "a bright star". Many rabbis say that it is "Ishtar",which means "hidden" in the Hebrew tongue. However there are some facts surrounding the Book of Esther that we must be aware of. We are not questioning this set of Scriptures as to whether it shouldhave been canonized, or not. In most cases, most people, including ministers, simply do not like to studyto the depth, to create doubt as to other certain books of the Scripture. However this is one book thatcertainly draws question as to why it was added to the cannon at the meeting of the council of Trent.The Kenites would have you believe that it was added at the time of the meeting of the great Synagogue,and that is simply not true. It absolutely was not. So naturally, you must remember that the Nethinims,that is to say the Kenites that had become the scribes for Israel, had a strong place in the scribe ship atthis time.Our Lord Jesus Christ made it very clear when He stated that "the scribes and the Pharisees sit in theseat of Moses." in Matthew 23:2.Now let us talk about Esther for just a moment. In as much as this book was not a part of the cannon,until the council at Trent, lets consider some things about Esther. Esther is not mentioned anywhere inthe cannon, that means that no where in the rest of the Scriptures do you find one word about This bookof Esther, other then Mordecai's own report, as given in this book. Mordecai is blowing his own horn, soto speak. Mordecai is the author, and many Kenites would have you believe that Ezra was the author,However there is no way that you can take the Persian terminology that is used in the book of Esther,and tag that on Ezra.Mordecai was a very efficient man and there are few Chaldean terms that are used that are very specificand perfect, and to the letter. It had to be an experienced scribe that went into such detail as to thepresence of who what present in a certain bedroom and chamber, and naming each individual to thepoint that either it was connived [made up] or he was there. Exra was not, and could not have been there,for Ezra never mentions Esther, ever.Daniel, the great prophet never mentioned Esther either, and he was living in Suasa the Capital city of Persia. He lived and worked in the palace that this so called Queen was supposed to inhabit. Daniel doesnot mention Esther or any of the events of the Esther anywhere, or Mordecai.It seems so strange that we have a hero in Mordecai, and a woman with such power in Queen Esther, tothe magnitude that it saved Israel, and Daniel wouldn’t mention it. Especially that Nehemiah, the King'scupbearer, wouldn't mention it either. They certainly were not very respectful to Esther; were they?The most important thing to remember is that not even Jesus Christ ever acknowledged Esther, nor hasany Christian apostle ever celebrated, nor mentioned that feast time known as "Purim". It is not a legalfeast day, and God did not give the name. Even Mordecai himself said that "Esther and I wrote the book".He did not claim that it was the Word of God; We will prove this out as we go.Well just because it was not mentioned in the Scripture, you would say that they were partial, but there isanother great thing also; You would think that Xerses, or Ahasuerus, when they recorded their wives, if he had such a outstanding and beautiful one as Esther certainly would be part of their history records.However no where in all Babylonia, Persia, Medes history is there a Esther mentioned or recorded asever even existing. So lets use just a little common sense, for we can see so many holes in this that youcan drive a Mack truck through it. And we have only started in the subject.If a woman had practically sacrificed herself to deliver Israel, then Jesus Christ, or one of the Prophets,or disciples would have mentioned her. Somewhere beyond the Book of Esther she would have beenrecorded for those acts.There is another strange thing about this whole affair. The emancipation has already taken place, andIsrael had been freed at the time of Esther, there was no need for Esther to hide from anyone. Ezra hadalready been given permission to take one group of thousands back to Jerusalem, and the King said; "go
with our blessings. You must remember that when the Persians took over, that the Persians were anAryan people. They were a people worshipping only One God. That means that they were kinsmen, of theAdamic race. They were a like people to Israel, and not like Nebuchadnezzar, and the Babylonians. Thatis why they were released and freed, so why would Esther ever have to hide?Now lets take a look at Mordecai and his credentials. Mordecai's genealogy will just not hold up, and thefew rabbis that thought that a Christian scholar that might come along and be wise enough to know thetruth. So they had to dig someone up from the past and set a time for that birth to take place. Then theywould have had to make some something stretch, like their shows on television, stretch it a little, tocause it to cover time that simply doesn't exist. So the Kenite rabbis in doing so have almost made amessiah out of Mordecai.Let’s view this a little from the Kenite Jewish Talmud, so to speak. "Rabbis claim Mordecai knew allseventy languages, of all languages of all nations mentioned from Genesis chapter ten." That would takequite a mind, "which the rabbis claimed as seventy (70) nations. And that his age exceeded four hundredyears." You will find this documented in the "Rabbinical Literate, vol 1, page 179."Now let me ask you; When we have to make up stories to that magnitude to make his genealogy and thisbook reach, that is stretching the point quite a bit. But there it is on Volume 1, page 179.It is written, even in the Companion Bible, that Esther was the mother of Cyrus the Great of Persia. Thiswould make the Book of Esther almost believable, if you would believe that lie. Because Cyrus was oneof three men that God [YHVH] the Almighty named before his birth. But you see, was Esther the mother of Cyrus? Absolutely not. A woman named "Mendane", the daughter of Astyages, the last king of Media;was the mother of Cyrus. This is well recorded in History; it is written and logged in ancient records.However Esther is not found in history, not only in Hebrew History, nor in Persian history, Babylonianhistory, or the history of the Medes.Now, the book of Esther is and was accepted by the Nethinims, from the great synagogue, and you cango into the Talmud and they will tell you that it was canonized there, but who do you listen to and studyunder? If you are taking the Kenites instruction, that's dangerous spiritually. The Kenite acceptancerecord was not accepted until the council of Trent, and there it was pronounced that the whole book of Esther to be canonical. Prior to that date it was doubtful whether or not Esther should be included in thecannon. Why? It was a fairy-tale. Any serious scholar can tell that we are dealing with a book of fiction.God's name is not mentioned anywhere in the manuscripts of Esther, but it is hidden five times, and thatis why we can go along with the book being called, "Ishtar, the Hidden". God Himself allowed the Book of Esther to be brought forth so the People would know that His hand was upon it.Then what are we to learn for the Book of Esther? One simple fact. The People that worshipped this holyday, their holy day and not our people, but they are Kenites. This day of "Purim" was never worshippedby Christians, nor did Christ, any of the prophets or the disciples of Christ ever suggest that we do so.The Kenites are Mordecai's people, the "Kenite".So what about Purim? There is some doubt about the festival that is given in Esther, it is taught by manythat the festival was originally a pagan feast. Either Persian, or Babylonian, or Greek of the "new Year,"of the dead", or "of the vintage" of harvest, which has been adopted by Jews and become so firmlyestablished, during the captivity that it could not be abolished. For the Jew, it clearly had no religioussignificance, but was merely of a social character. It was marked by much merry-making, and excess. Itwas however given a patriotic and national character by being transformed into an annual ceremonial of a great deliverance described in the Book of Esther only. Not any other place in history.The Book of Esther was ordered to be read at this feast by the rabbis. Some would maintain thatMordecai and Esther are really the disguised forms of the names of the Babylonian deity of "Murdak"and "Ishtar". Mordecai's day, this day of Purim, had been transformed from a Babylonian myth into astory of national heros, with a patriotic theme. Such a suggestion are of great interest, and shows muchingenuity, but they remain entirely in the realm of theory only. If the origin of the feast as described inEsther is doubtful, then no other theory ever produced can be convincing; unless you call it an out rightlie.
Now let’s look at the historical value of the book of Esther. It can be seen from the last paragraph, theone above, that considerable doubt has been thrown upon the case of the history of Esther. Some willdeny that the story has any historical background, and regard it merely as a transformed pagan myth.While others are prepared to maintain that there may be some historical event underlining the story. If itis, where is that event in history, it just doesn't exist. It has be greatly overplayed by the romanticimaginations of the writer.Attempts have been made to defend its full historical accuracy, but they are not successful inestablishing Esther to any time in history. The book abounds in probabilities and stretching the truth andit bears the stamp of an imaginative romance. The writer of the book of Esther knew Persia sufficientlywell to give the story the complete Persian coloring that it does have. This is why you must remove Ezraas the author. However secular history knows nothing of the heroes Mordecai and Esther. Nor is thereany Queen in History of any nation named Vashti.If Mordecai was one of the exiles carried to Babylon, in 597 B.C., which the record records that he was,He would have been one hundred and twenty years old in the reign of Xerxes, and this would make our beautiful Queen also between one hundred a hundred and twenty years old. Her child bearing yearscame later, and the formula just won't work. There are huge holes in the story, but I suppose that theholes were left so big, because these Kenite scribes thought most Christians to be quick to conclusionand so slow in seeing the truth.Now with this background in mind, let us see if we can make sense of what the Father would have usretrieve, or learn form this fairy-tale of the book of Esther. Our heavenly Father definitely intended thisbook to be in the Bible, whereby we can brand our enemy the liar, and spot that Kenite even down to Hisfeast days throughout all times. Even to this day.
