There also seems to be a double standard about hair. The men are to have short hair but the women are also allowed to have short hair. and in turn some of the short haired women condemn ( for alack of better words) men or boys with hair over their ears.

One sunday in church a man was admonished in front of the whole congregation because he had a hat on and was giving a testimony. He was quoted the scripture about not praying of prophesying with your head covered. But none of the women are admonished for not wearing hats in that church.
